Jack and me through use Golden section to make these art works. The top left one is successful use symmetrical of square.We use different two pictures and give a overlap visual effect.

 

The left  side next art work is use Gold triangle to create. That is good to show the beauty between Geometric figure and Golden section. 

 

From right top art work is very clearly to see the Golden section of the arc beauty. The reason why I choose a dancers to be the main design that is because her Dancing posture is very accord with this arc.

 

 

Assessment 2

The first ideal come out my mind is through Golden section way to cut these two Beijing Opera face be a rectangle. And the proportion between high and wide is

1 : 1.618. 

Then I have choose a man face to be my art work background.Through combine many different size rectangle to complete my idea.

This can be seen in numerous examples of their decorative use in art and on everyday objects dating back to prehistoric times. Symbols are the languages of the soul. Symbol bi-passes the mind and goes direct to the deep recess of the mind. Historically all cultures through out the planet has used symbols to convey and receive messages. Languages as we know is a fairly modern version of communication. Languages and words has its limits in communicating the true nature of things. The ancients have left hundreds of symbols throughout the planet offering us clues to their existence and also offeirng us wisdom. Some of the famous symbols we are well aware of all the symbols of Egypt, Ancient Mayans and the Celetic symbols. In these amazing times, symbols along with sound would become a powerful healing tool for releasing deep seated emotions and belief systems. which in turn will open us to our core essence - our mighty I AM Presence.


All the symbols have been channelled and each are constructed using ancient sacred geometry. I think when people look at the symbols not with eyes only, but also with an open heart. When you are able to tune into the symbols, you would be able to connect with the symbols, then you are able to draw forth the essence of the symbols in to you. See the energy of the symbols slowly entering in to you through your third eye and slowly melting into people aura and finally settling into our mind.

Geometric used in art work is very much. There are have many famous works use geometric as a theme and this I think the theme even in this century still very hot have not show any sign of weakness. The reason that I have find from the class and research that is geometric is like a kind of truth of the world super principle. When an art work use geometric as a part. The Inevitable result that influence people's eyes are feeling comfortable, right, nature and simple. I think because the geometric is the truth of the world that make almost all feedback which come from viewer are positive and hard to feel not accept even that is a failure works.
In the class, teacher show me many good examples about how geometric used in art. That I found the geometric have already used by people in past. Also that I think many origin art works got very strong relationship with geometric.

Math & Art Week 1

In the first class. As the definition between Math and art are very not clear for me. In my thinking these two word in literally have not any relationship. However if serious to analysis these two words I can find many contact way between them.
The first class is very successful to make me interested in math and art this course. The reason is the teacher show me that almost all famous art works have their mathematical principle hidden behind. And also mathematical itself can be defined as a part of art.Mathematical is the base of the human science. People use mathematical to find the true of the world. However in the real world many things themselves are incredible and has artistic. For example the fish scales, the structure of the human body, the Milky Way and the The difference between men and women.
In my view about this course is very exciting and make me more clearly to know that, what is art? What is math? Also it is quite useful for me to get more inspiration in the future.
